To anyone who might have been wondering why I haven't posted last week, lets just say I've been a victim to the increasing crime rate in NYC. As exciting as New York may be there is still the element of danger and terror that crawl like insects in the dark alleyways during the twilight hours. Even while the sun is out, devious individuals stalk potential tourist and unsuspecting prey.
While attending a meeting on West 38th street near Bryant park in the city my phone and 400$ mysteriously disappeared from my possession. And yes, it was an IPhone. I frantically searched for my belongings the moment I realized they were missing and even made a report with the local precinct, to no avail. My things were gone...and I had no idea who to even blame.
The message today folks is while enjoying a stroll in Williamsburg Brooklyn, or a night out on the town in Staten Island be alert and aware of your surroundings at all times. New York is a big city and full of people who might want to harm you. Always be aware.
